From a single office in South London to six continents

InfraForge has grown not by acquiring firms, but by earning trust — project by project, decade by decade. Each milestone below represents a decision to go further, risk more, and build something the world hadn't seen before.

Founded
Incorporated in Southwark, London
David Osei-Bonsu and three colleagues leave a major consultancy to start InfraForge — with a mandate to take on projects other firms consider too complex, too remote, or too politically difficult.
1991
First International Project
Ghana Rural Roads Programme
Commissioned by the World Bank, InfraForge delivers 1,200km of rural road improvements across three regions — bringing InfraForge to global attention and opening the African continent.
2001
Expansion
Asia-Pacific Office Opened, Kuala Lumpur
Following the delivery of a flagship water treatment programme in Malaysia, InfraForge establishes a regional hub that today coordinates work across 18 Asia-Pacific countries.
2009
Pivot
Sustainability Charter Adopted
InfraForge becomes one of the first infrastructure firms globally to adopt a binding sustainability charter — committing to net-zero embodied carbon across all projects by 2030, over 20 years before most competitors.
2016
Milestone
200th Project Delivered
The Abidjan Metro Phase 1 becomes InfraForge's 200th completed project — celebrated with the launch of the InfraForge Foundation to fund infrastructure in communities unable to afford commercial rates.
