Born from Reverence
for Living Craft
Artisana began in 2015 in the narrow lanes of Jaipur's old city, where founder Priya Nair watched a master block-printer work in near silence, his hands moving with a certainty built across forty years.
She asked how many people bought his work. He paused, then said very few. That moment became the seed of Artisana — a bridge between India's extraordinary craft makers and people who believe in the value of things made by hand.
Today we work with over 500 artisan families across 18 states — from the weavers of Varanasi to the bronze casters of Odisha, from Kashmiri embroiderers to Madhubani painters in Bihar.
